Fighting for Veterans & Dependents of Veterans

I, Sean Ravin, Esq., am committed to fighting injustice on behalf of those individuals and their dependents who have fought to protect this country.

Why hire a Private Attorney?

An attorney is the only person who can represent you in your appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is represented by its own attorneys who receive millions of dollars to represent the Secretary of VA. The VA attorneys are very well trained and are not there to assist veterans or their dependents; their goal is to serve the Secretary of VA and win at all costs.

In order to stand any chance of defeating VA and winning your appeal, you must be represented by an attorney who is experienced in veterans benefits law and has a proven track record at the Veterans Court.

At this time, I am only representing veterans and dependents who have filed an appeal of a final Board decision to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

My Professional Qualifications.

I am an attorney admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, and I have represented veterans and their dependents for over ten years before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. I am battle tested, and I have a proven track record of defeating the VA over and over.

Additionally, I am accredited to represent veterans and dependents before the Department of Veterans Affairs and have represented hundreds of veterans and their dependents before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals and various VA Regional Offices around the country. My goal is to see that every veteran and dependent who is my client is paid every single penny of compensation that they are entitled to under law.
